MISS CHENERY (4) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m1f at Eagle Farm two weeks ago as 5/2 favourite. Tackles a longer journey this time. The testing material. AKKADIAN EMPEROR (2) did little and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fourth at Hawkesbury the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. TAMBOURINE MAN (5) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m2 1/4f at this track. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. OKESUTORA (3) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Albury two starts back then got the job done by 0.9 lengths as favourite last time out over 1m3f at Rockhampton. Nicely placed to take this out.
