Ready to open his account. READY FOR THE TRIP (5) is a six-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the latest effort a solid second at Toowoomba over 6½f. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. HE IS THE KISS (3) had been performing well until racing below his best last time when fifth over 7f at Ballina. Better than that and is among the leading chances. SHIRLEY PEARLY (10) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Ballina, beaten 4 lengths into sixth. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is good enough to take this out.
