EXPRESS PAYMENT (2) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 1.4 lengths over 1m1/4f at Ipswich. Should go forward from the awkward gate. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SMART AS SMART (7) was well fancied last time and did a good job to finish third over 1m1/4f at this track at the third run of the prep. Rock-hard fit now so he looks certain to run well. TEXAS FIREBALL (5) was doing his best work late last start to get up for third over 6¾f at this track. Another bold showing is expected. KIRIKAN (8) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 1m at Eagle Farm last time out. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
