Has won when fresh from a lay-off in the past. Facing a tougher assignment but should be hard to stop. CHO OYU (2) wound up strongly last time out to finish half a length adrift in second over 6f at Eagle Farm when coming back from a lay-off. Solid prospects. COLLEANO (3) is returning from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Finished sixth at Warrnambool over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Matthew Hoysted. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Deagon. Among the better hopes while fresh. LANTAU ISLAND (5) broke his maiden last start over 6f at Eagle Farm, scoring by 1.1 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with Emily Lang who was on board last start. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
