TERMAGANT (11) caught the eye last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast, coming from well back to finish half a length from the winner in second. Should be at her peak now so another big run is on the cards. DEER TRAIL (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 9/12/2023, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths over 7f at Eagle Farm. Rates highly and should take some beating. CERTAINLYCAN (13) was quickly into stride and went on to score by 4.5 lengths last time out over 5½f at Ipswich. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. FORTUNEER (9) is back after a break of five months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Definite top-three chance.
