BENZINO (1) kept coming only to just miss last start over 1m3f at Ipswich. Should be near his peak for this. Nicely placed to go one better. THE VOCALIST (8) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 1.75 lengths away in second after he gave away a big start over 1m3 1/4f at Grafton. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. ENTERPRISE PRIVATE (4) travelled in a rearwards position then made a little ground and finished 3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m1f at Gold Coast a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in journey. Harder here but shapes as one to consider. LADY MATILDA (7) is a eight-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5.5 lengths when seventh over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
