Multiple Group 3 placegetter NANAGUI (1) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 5½f at this track. Cherry-ripe now and can turn things around. BONCASSIE (3) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 6f at Coffs Harbour when resuming from a lay-off, beaten half a length. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise. TRANQUIL BAY (7) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 0.6 lengths from the winner in third over 6½f at Sunshine Coast. Will find this tougher but is not to be discounted.
