DEMARCAY (1) raced below his best last time when sixth over 1m3f at Eagle Farm, beaten 3.5 lengths. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. THE WELLIAN (3) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 11 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1m1/2f at Ipswich two weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Will find this tougher but a bold showing is expected. KADAVAR (4) was given a short break after winning over 1m1/4f at Ipswich. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial at Deagon. One of the contenders. LAWBREAKER (7) was prominent at the bend and finished third last start over 1m1 1/4f at Eagle Farm, beaten 0.7 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects.
