Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. PRINCE RAGNAR (1) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 6f at Geraldton when beaten 3 lengths. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Leading contender. LOVA SESSION (3) is returning from a lay-off of 12 weeks. Finished sixth at Belmont Park over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Peter Bamford. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SIMPLY ROSSO (2) raced on the pace to the bend before fading to finish ninth, beaten 5 lengths, over this journey at Geraldton. Should give a bold sight.
