Just the three runners for the opening race on a bid day at Doncaster. MAXIMILIAN (1) has been lightly raced in his career however made a solid return to action four weeks ago when finishing runner up at Haydock Park. May come on plenty for that outing and this looks a good opportunity for him to get off the mark over fences. BLUE LAS (2) brings some nice novice hurdle form from last season. Provided a good fight to a much superior rival at Warwick three weeks ago. This is an easier test and she rates highly. LUNAR DISCOVERY (3) is a nice honest performer who'll pay his way for connections. Likely to struggle in this contest.
