ROGUE TEMPTATION (4) encountered a useful performer dead-heating for second over 6f at Ripon. The winner has since gone on to finish a respectable fourth in the G2 Lowther Stakes at York and it's possible there could be more to come from this Ed Bethell trained filly now entering nurseries. Progressive runner HALF SOVEREIGN (1) might not want it testing but cannot be ignored following a success over 7f at Newmarket (July) last time. Similar comments apply to BRISK SYMPHONY (3), who was withdrawn due to testing ground at Goodwood after her ready win tackling a Newbury novice event in July. GWEN JOHN (6) and CONCERT (7) are others to note.
