ILOVETHISTOWN (3) is back after a break of ten weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished tenth over 1m at Cranbourne. Has trialled well leading into this. Rates on top and is a great chance to break through. ZOE OF ROME (12) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 12 lengths away in 11th over 7f at Launceston. Nicely placed to get the prize. SMASH 'N' GRAB (10) will find this a little easier after missing the frame in town last time, finishing tenth over 6f at Hobart. Should camp just off the leaders. One of the main contenders. ALPINE WOODS (9) is back after a break of five months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at her latest appearance over 6f at Hobart. Should be forward enough following three recent trials. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
