VAGABOND HERO (1) started at 13/8 last time on the back of a win at Ballarat Synthetic two starts ago but was below his best, finishing sixth over 1m at Benalla after being in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SUN HALO (5) settled well back last start and never threatened when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6¾f at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. MATEUS (3) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1m at Hobart. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Capable of testing this field. I'M CHEV (2) is progressing well this campaign, getting the job done by half a length last time out over 6¾f at this track. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
