CORNELIAN BAY (3) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 5¾f at this track. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be right there at the finish. WARICA (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when eighth over 6f at Launceston two weeks ago. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RING OF HONOUR (6) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to be right there at the finish. CAPITAL CHEVAL (7) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 6¾f at this track, beaten only a neck. Likely improver so plenty to like about his chances.
