SHIM (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when she worked home well but found a couple better over 6f at Launceston, beaten 2.5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. CHAMPAGNE CINDERS (6) strode forward early from her wide draw over 5½f at Launceston last time before fading to finish tenth. Can give a sight if at her best. VENTUS (8) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on January 12 finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths over 5½f at Launceston. Definite top-three chance.
