Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. AJS MAXIN OUT (2) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 1f31yards at this track. Makes plenty of appeal. TOP MERCHANDISE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1f31yards at The Red Mile, beaten 2.75 lengths into eighth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
