GEOMETRY (8) won when resuming then was less effective in stakes class when fourth in the G2 Del Mar Derby (Turf). Will find this much easier. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be in the finish. CHURCH AND STATE (5) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Woodbine two starts back then got the job done by half a length last time out over 1m in Listed grade at Woodbine. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to score again. MAUI STRONG (6) has been thereabouts without winning, the latest effort a sixth over 1m in the G2 Secretariat Stakes at Colonial Downs (Turf). Winning rider Vincent Cheminaud stays aboard. One of the contenders. KING OF ASHES (12) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/2f at Kentucky, beaten 18 lengths into 11th. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
