MOPO (1) broke her maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 2.75 lengths into second over 1m1/2f at Colonial Downs (Turf). Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will play a major role. WARRIOR WAYNE (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Going up a level this time but he cannot be overlooked. ROUNDTOP (2) started at 7/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 23 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 1m1/2f. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. COUNTRY CHARLIE (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 8 when beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth at this track (Turf) over 7½f after being in contention on the bend. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role.
