INMORTAL J (1) made a strong late bid only to just miss last start over 6f at this track (Dirt). Ready to go one better. SIR MENDEL (7) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to find winning ways. ISSANO (6) returns from a lay-off of eight months and did win when resuming last time in work over 6½f at Woodbine. Should be prominent. SPEEDY ALEX (2) was in the placings at his first two runs this campaign before breaking through over 6f at Laurel (Dirt) last time. Has found winning form. Going too well to ignore.
