GRAND AVILA (6) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Gulfstream Park but disappointed last time when tenth, beaten 15 lengths, at Gulfstream Park (Dirt) over 7f. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. SIR MENDEL (5) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing seventh over 1m1/2f at Gulfstream Park (Synthetic). Open to improvement and is among the chances. ROLLY (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 18 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5½f at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. KAZ CREED (7) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 11 when beaten 13 lengths into seventh at Penn National (Dirt) over 6f. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form again.
