STEP LIGHTLY (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m1/2f at Tampa Bay Downs after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can take the next step and salute. AFTERNEATH (5) finished seventh over 6f at Penn National (Dirt) at her most recent appearance on January 2. Rates highly and should take some beating. LINO AND ME (4) is back from a break of three months. Raced below par at her only appearance last prep when fifth over 5½f at Laurel (Dirt). Under the care of new trainer Wallace C Neilson this prep. Has a win and two minor placings at this journey from four starts and is expected to run well. CHARLIZE CHUB (3) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on 18/12/2024, finishing tenth and beaten 15 lengths over 6½f at Parx (Dirt). Sure to make her presence felt.
