CORONOVA (3) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1m at Colonial Downs (Turf). Yet to break through this time in but hasn't been far away, with three placings to his name. Bold showing expected. HENDRICKSON (2) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 1m1/4f at this track (Turf) at his latest appearance. Should settle handy in the run. Will play a major role. CARLIN CLAN (12) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.1 lengths over 1m at Monmouth Park (Turf) after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. CASSIUS (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1f at Laurel, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
