Good record at this journey with two wins and two minor placings from five starts and should prove tough to beat. RUN POPPY (6) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 6f at this track (Dirt) after being prominent from the outset. Should camp just off the leaders. Likely improver with strong prospects. THE BULLION BOMBER (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the David Jacobson yard. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Santa Anita (Dirt) four months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Leading prospect. CAPTAIN QUINT (8) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third over 6f at this track. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
