STANFORD DROPOUT (3) finished second when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track. Looms large. EIELSON (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 4½f at Los Alamitos Qh, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. CHASE N RYAN (6) settled well back last start and never threatened when 16 lengths from the winner in 11th over 5f at Del Mar Turf (Turf). Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. JALISCO (1) finished third last time over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 9 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Placed to advantage so expect a big run.
