Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. DUKE OF ORLEANS (8) knuckled down strongly to get within one length of the winner in third last start over 6f at Santa Anita when returning from a lay-off. Solid prospects. HE'S GOT FIRE (5) was prominent at the turn and finished second last time over 6f at Los Alamitos (Dirt), beaten 8 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. SUNK COST FALLACY (9) turned in another moderate effort last start when 10 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1m at Santa Anita Turf. No surprise to see him in the frame.
