UNCLE EVCO (1) turned in a nice run last time to finish second over 1m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. DIRTY WORDS (3) is a five-start maiden who was close to a win before a three-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a minor placing at this track (Turf). Can pick up where he left off. Bold showing expected. GRINNELL (6) comes here off a break of ten weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at this track. Has to be respected. SEATTLE SURF (4) was prominent at the bend and finished third last start over 5½f at Santa Anita (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out.
