DR FILKINS (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6½f at Santa Anita (Turf) when third, beaten 6 lengths. Promising type with improvement to come so he is worth following up. EYE OF THE SMILEY (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 9 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at this track three weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. DEBBIES GETTINGHOT (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 5½f at Santa Anita. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. SIRNAMI (3) is a two-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Mike Puype. By Sir Prancealot from Wind N Waves. Worth watching for a betting push.
