Race Tip

DESERT GATE (5) remains unbeaten after two starts, scoring again last time over 6f in the G3 Best Pal Stakes at this track (Dirt). Far too good last time and is right in contention again. BRANT (2) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 5½f at this track (Dirt) six weeks ago. Sure to be further improved and can make it back-to-back wins. BALBOA (3) recorded a strong maiden win over 6½f at this track (Dirt) last time, getting there by 7 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he is a solid top-three hope. LITMUS TEST (6) went forward and proved too strong on debut last start, scoring with 0.8 lengths to spare over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Can sneak into the finish again.
