MCKINZIE STREET (1) transitions to a turf track for the first time. Returned from a lay-off last start with a minor placing over 7f at Ellis Park, beaten 6 lengths. Change of rider to Kazushi Kimura who has never been out of the money in four rides, including a win. Fitter and a likely improver. ITS A CINCH (3) got home by 2 lengths when resuming on turf two starts ago at Santa Anita over 6f. Followed that up with an unplaced effort on dirt at Los Alamitos over 5½f. Edwin Maldonado who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Sure to play a big role. TRIPLE DIAMONDS (6) returns from a layoff of ten weeks. Scored over 6f at Santa Anita at the start of last prep. Boasts an unbeaten when resuming record from two runs. Definite top-three chance. LISTENUPSHANCE (2) raced on the pace over 6f at this track (Dirt) last time and went on to win by 5 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from four outings. One of the fringe hopes.
