COWBOY MIKE (6) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing sixth over 1m at Listed level at Los Alamitos (Dirt). The testing material on his best form. DEL MAR JERRY (2) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 5f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a win at Santa Anita at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. SHORTMAN (4) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Los Alamitos (Dirt) two starts back then got the job done by 0.1 lengths last time out over 6½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt). Armando Aguilar scored on him last time and retains the mount. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. FATHER DELAY (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 0.3 lengths over 1m at Los Alamitos (Dirt). Finds a suitable race and can play a major role again.
