CANADA GATE (6) is back at the races for the first time since August 22. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/2f at Santa Anita. Now under the care of new trainer John W Sadler. Expect him to play a major role. LAHAINA FLAVOR (11) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at this track (Turf) with success over 1m at Santa Anita (Turf) three weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Taking on a better line-up this time but he can win again. NO SECRET (4) scored a 0.8 lengths win on dirt at Fresno in a then followed up with a minor placing, again on dirt, at Fresno over 1m1f three weeks ago. Will find this much easier. Solid claims on his best form.
