LORD SHELDON (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m1/4f at Pleasanton, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. DEPARTURE (7) has switched yards since finishing fifth seven weeks ago over 1m at Los Alamitos. Has ability and should be right in the finish. ABADON (4) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Los Alamitos. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to bounce back. Group 3 placegetter ROYAL ACT (5) finished fourth last start over 1m1f at Churchill Downs (Dirt) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Sure to give a sight.
