HAMMURABI (4) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Tayarn Halter barn. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Goulburn three-and-a-half months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Can kick off with a win. PAFITIS (6) returned last time with a solid third at this track over 5½f after being in contention on the bend. Placed to advantage and can take this out. DYNASTY REWARD (1) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of nine weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5f at Alice Springs. One of the leading chances. FORGING AHEAD (3) is a three-year-old gelding who is still a maiden after eight starts but has been in the placings three times. Failed to threaten when 12 lengths from the winner in fourth when resuming last start over 5½f at this track. Solid contender in this line up.
