GOOD ONYA DARL (4) finished third last start over 5½f at this track to make it three minor placings from 10 runs. Has a solid record at this track, finishing in the top-three two times. Sure to prove very tough to beat. RIVERS OF BABYLON (1) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Rhonda Cole barn. Resumes after finishing fifth at Yarra Valley at his last run five months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Should feature in the finish. WESTERN MINER (3) was always well back on debut last start and made no impression, finishing seventh over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Expected to do far better this time. LADY FIREBALL (6) made late ground and finished third last time over 5½f at this track, beaten 2. 5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Likely improver with solid claims.
