POLARISING (5) with two wins and five minor placings from eight runs and is one of the major players. ANECDOTAL (3) met with solid support when resuming last start over 5f at this track when third, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and should be hard to stop. TEARS ARE FLOWING (4) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Gary Clarke yard. Hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Ballarat four months ago. Not seen at the trials but scored on debut to kick off the maiden campaign. Expected to be in the finish. HELL AND BACK (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on October 29, finishing fourth and beaten 4. 5 lengths over 6¾f at Doomben. Now under the care of new trainer Chris Pollard. Definite top-three chance.
