VILLA ROYALE (4) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish a neck back in second over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to go one better. TIPSY TORONADO (5) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Paul Shiers yard. Most recently finished in the placings at Wangaratta before going for a break. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Among the leading chances. PATRIOTIC KING (1) was prominent at the turn and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 5f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has the ability to produce another positive result. TIGERS ROAR (2) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Tayarn Halter stable. Finished off last campaign with a eighth at Wyong three months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Not to be underestimated.
