RISING FIRE (1) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at this track with success over 6½f at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.75 lengths. Jason Lyon gets the best out of this seven-year-old gelding. Has the ability to figure prominently. POLARISING (4) produced another moderate effort last start when 12 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6½f at this track. The engagement of Sonja Logan is a positive move. No surprise to see her in the mix.
