MOTORACE (8) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fourth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Morphettville then improved and scored as favourite over 7½f at Gawler three weeks ago, getting home by a nose after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. AWASH (13) performed above expectations last time over 1m at this track, finishing 0.8 lengths from the winner in second after starting at huge odds. Good record at this journey with two wins and five minor placings from 10 starts and is a key runner. HETTINGER (12) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start which was an improvement on the when resuming run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CINQUE TORRI (3) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1m at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
