Looks set to run well for the new mentor. DAMO DAYZ (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5.5 lengths when fifth over 5½f at this track five weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. VINNIE'S SPIRIT (8) returns after a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5f at Alice Springs. Definite top-three chance. BAHAMA BAY (10) was prominent at the corner and finished second last time over 5f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten half a length. Capable of another bold effort.
