RHESUS (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 6½f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. STARSPANGLEDANCER (3) finished seventh two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6½f at this track, beaten only one length after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. QUEEN IN THE NORTH (7) turned in a fine effort to win by one length at this track and distance last start in a nice progression on the when resuming performance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ESSKAY (6) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 14 lengths into eighth over 6½f at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
