SPACESHIP (1) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Gary Clarke yard. Most recently finished in the placings at Eagle Farm before going for a break. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Can make an immediate impact. WHITTEN (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when fifth over 6½f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. MEANT FOR MARS (8) fought on for second last start over 6f at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Has the pace and draw to take up a good early position. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. RED ARIC (2) accounted for a maiden field over 5f at this track last start, finishing half a length ahead of the nearest rival. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run.
