SATAY CHICKEN (3) has been kept fresh since running below par last time, finishing 14th over 7f at Inverell. Well placed and can make amends. INATICK (4) produced a good effort last start over this trip at this track, scoring by a neck. Has a very good record here including three wins from six starts. Best form puts him right in this. SMILING ZAC (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5. 5 lengths away in ninth over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. DRANG A TANG (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on September 20, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths over 7f at this track. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
