CHAMPAGNE TOWER (6) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Ipswich, beaten 2.25 lengths. Finds a suitable assignment and can take the next step and salute. TRUSTY BANDIT (4) is on a seven-day back-up after finishing in the money over 1m at Toowoomba. Jumps from a good gate and should be in the finish. MUCHACHO (14) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 4 lengths when fifth over 6f at Gold Coast. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. FOR THE BRAVE (9) finished third last time over 5f at Goondiwindi, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Capable of another strong performance.
