Likely improver and looks the one to beat. MARINE GRADE (4) is back after a break of 11 months. At the last run before the layoff he finished eighth over 1m at Sandown-Lakeside. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Wangaratta trial. Set for a bold return. DIAMOND MILA (1) went forward over 6f at Moe last time but found one better. One of the main contenders. NIGHT GUARD (5) was below his best last time when sixth over 7f at Pakenham, beaten 7 lengths. Well placed and should be thereabouts.
