ALLEVIATE (4) recorded a strong maiden win over 5½f at Sale last time, getting there by 2. 25 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and she is a key runner. DECANTED (2) hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Bendigo and has placed in two trials leading into return. Rates highly and bold showing expected. SPARKLING LUCK (1) was not disgraced in city class last time when fifth at Caulfield Heath but back to home course this time. Won't find this assignment as tough. Capable of testing this field. CARDAMOM (5) looks to kick off this prep the way she ended the last four months ago when she scored over 7f58yards at Kyneton. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Big run is on the cards.
