STRIKE FIRST (2) is a 13-start maiden who finished fifth at his most recent appearance over 1m at Pakenham after he got a long way back in the run. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. SACRE BLEU (1) was below his best last time, finishing sixth and beaten 11 lengths over 1m at Bairnsdale. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. PASIFAE (8) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5 lengths when sixth over 7f at this track. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. TENNESSEE LINK (9) missed the placings on debut two runs back then was always well out of her ground last start when 31 lengths away in 12th over 1m at Stony Creek. Going up a level this time but she deserves another chance.
