LUIGI THE BRAVE (4) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 4. 5 lengths away in third over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley when he was handy all the way. Likely improver with strong prospects. SO VOGUE (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton, beaten 1. 4 lengths into sixth. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. SIVA TAU (8) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 10 lengths away in eighth last time out over 1m1 1/2f at Kyneton when fresh from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Backmarker who keeps coming. Among the main hopes. THE LONG MOVER (9) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 1m4 1/2f at Pakenham, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
