HIGHSTRUNG (11) followed an unplaced effort when resuming two runs back with a second last start over 7f at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CALIFORNIA FLYER (5) is a seven-start maiden who has been in the money three times, Could only manage fifth last time out over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Has been in the frame at both appearances at this course. Sure to be about the mark. FLASH ALICE (6) was prominent at the turn and finished third last start over 6f32yards at Geelong, beaten 2.25 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance.
