ATELLA MISS (10) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished eighth at Sandown-Lakeside over 6f, beaten 4.5 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. QUICK SPELL (7) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished sixth over 6f122yards at Geelong. Should be forward enough following three recent trials. Good chance to break through. COUNTRY BLUES (2) finished third, beaten 3.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f136yards at Geelong. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. PRINCE OF BROOKY (6) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fifth at Ballarat over 5½f, beaten 5 lengths. Among the better hopes.
