LADY BRIGHTSIDE (8) raced on the pace before drawing clear to score a 0.8 lengths win over this course and distance last time. Sure to go well again. BELCONY (10) got well back over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 5.5 lengths away in seventh. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. SUPERSET (2) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the turn at Echuca, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 9/2. Yet to miss the placings from five starts at this circuit. Logan Bates gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. STORMFRONT (1) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 0.8 lengths over 6½f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
